Growth and Authority track all five major answer engines: ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Gemini, Perplexity and Copilot. Worth knowing: the optimization work itself is not engine-specific. Citations, reviews, schema, llms.txt and question-targeted content improve how every assistant sees you, because they all draw on overlapping sources. What changes between tiers is how many engines we measure and report on, not which ones the work benefits.
How long until I show up in AI answers?
It depends on your starting point, your market, and how much third-party authority you already have. Who do you work with?
Small and medium-sized businesses, most often local and service-area ones. That includes dental and medical clinics, physiotherapy and chiropractic practices, salons, spas and cosmetic clinics, contractors and home-service trades, law firms and accountants, restaurants and local retail, realtors and auto shops. Single-location and multi-location both work. We're based in Toronto and most of our clients are in the GTA and the rest of Ontario, but we work with businesses across Canada and internationally. We're probably not the right fit for enterprise brands with an in-house SEO team.
Do you work with businesses outside Canada?
Yes. We're based in Toronto and a lot of our work is Canadian, but the service is delivered entirely remotely and nothing about it is Canada-specific. AI answer engines work the same way everywhere: they draw on your website, your business profiles, your reviews, directories and third-party sources, wherever those are. We adapt the directory and review platforms we work on to your market rather than defaulting to Canadian ones. Sessions are booked in your timezone. If you operate in a market or language we can't properly support, we'll tell you before you sign up rather than after.
How is this different from generic SEO or marketing agencies?
